★ ☆ ✰ Rating: 9.5/10

The main character is someone who loves the stars and her work (particularly during a certain part of the story) in the planetarium shows that. However, due to being the reincarnation of a goddess, she finds herself in a strange new world full of gods that want her to cleanse them of their sins. The main character can be very sweet and caring, this is shown the most during the last part of the story where she is constantly worrying about Ichthys’ health and how he uses his powers. She doesn’t like being left in the dark and tries her hardest to find out what is going on with Ichthys and she becomes persistent when he tries to push her away. At the same time, she is also very simple and though she might be confused by his pranks at first, she quickly comes to enjoy them and tends to get swept in whatever he is doing — they just tend to have a lot of fun together! The main character is also very idealistic when it comes to the concept of destiny which pushes Ichthys to fight against his own and even the king. Ichthys adds an extra dosage of fun within the main character’s life and she helps him overcome his fate, though they do have their problems along the way.

Ichthys is always smiling and has a great love for pranks, as shown with how he gives out his punishments towards humans. However, his constant pranks do get on the nerves of the others gods from time to time, as shown with Scorpio. He also has a tendency of dragging others into his games, as shown with the main character and Dui. He is very kind and tries his hardest to make other people smile, while he tries his hardest with the main character. Yet, Ichthys is always willing to help others and give up almost anything for the people that he cares about as shown with his background story and during the last part of the route. Ichthys has a tendency of doing what he wants without really caring for the consequences with led him to his current situation, but at the same time he seems to have accepted his destiny and underneath his happy, carefree attitude there seems to be a silent agony of what he is going to miss out of life. He seems to have calmly accepted what was happening to him, but that slowly changes as he spend more time with the main character.

The story starts with the main character choosing Ichthys to save her, though she quickly comes to realize she might have made of mistake due to all the other gods pitying her choice. She gets to help him in pranking humans as punishments and going with him to the aquarium, but all of this takes its told on Ichthys’ body and the main character comes to realize that there something strange about his “god” status. From that point on, she tries her hardest to keep him from using his powers, but Ichthys just seems to be getting weaker and weaker to the point where the other members of the Department of Punishments keep her from seeing him. However, after finally be able to see each other once more, something happens to the main character that forces Ichthys to use all of his powers and thus he suddenly disappears. Where has he gone and will their love finally be able to bloom?

The end of Ichthys’ story is very sweet and it does have an intersting twist compared to the other routes I have played through so far; it is even nice to see a different side of the King when he interacts with Ichthys compared to the other cursed gods. It is also great to see how close the main character and  Ichthys become and the different ways they help each other overcome their fears. At the same time, it is good to see how supportive Dui and Teorus both are Ichthys and the main character because of how worry they are about his health and know how important she has become to him. The overall of theme is to never give up and to keep fighting regardless of what might happen, Ichthys had given up on all that until he met the main character with her giving him a reason to fight again.

Ichthys has a really good and solid story with great relationship with the main character, though it would have been nice to see more of his background story, though that might shown in future releases.
